ENROLLMENT & SERVICES
After a child meets eligibility requirements, they may be enrolled to receive services from the Waupaca County Birth to Three Early Intervention Program. A service coordinator works with the family to ensure that the family receives services and supports needed within the family's natural environment.
The team (family members and Early Intervention Staff members):
- Discusses the child's developmental strengths
- Reviews families daily routines and activities
- Determines what services and supports would enhance the child's development
- Prepares a plan to provide services and supports within the families daily routines and activities.
- Work as a team led by a primary coach to achieve the families goals they have established for their child themselves.
COST
- There is no cost to you until the child has been found eligible for services and the family decides to enroll in the program.
- All families who accept services will complete a cost share worksheet to identify the family's contribution.
- With the family's permission, we will bill insurance for therapies provided.
