As of September 1, 2023, the Department of Health & Human Services has separated into two departments. We are now the Department of Human Services and the Department of Public Health. The phone number for Human Services is 715-258-6300, and the phone number for Public Health is 715-258-6323.

Reporting a Public Health Concern

In the event of a public health emergency such as a Category I reportable communicable disease or other non-routine, urgent health hazard:

During our regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Call the Waupaca County Department of Public Health at 715-258-6323 and ask to speak to a Public Health Nurse.

Outside of our regular business hours (evenings, weekends, holidays): Call the Waupaca County Command Center at 715-258-4466 and ask to speak to an on-call Public Health Nurse.
